Can beauty packaging be compostable?

Yes, for dry products: powders, bath salts, masks and solid formats up to 1kg run in certified home compostable (PBS-based) or industrially compostable (PLA-based) laminates, certified by TÜV, BPI or ABA. Compostable films are moisture-sensitive by design, so they're not suitable for liquid formulations, oils or high-humidity products, for those, recyclable PCR is the honest recommendation.
