Can the packaging be compostable or recyclable?

Compostable is not available for liquid applications — liquid content degrades compostable laminates. Recyclability is constrained by the barrier requirements of most liquid applications — multi-material laminates are needed and cannot be separated in standard recycling streams. The sustainability story rests on format (~80% less material than a bottle) and PCR content, not material recyclability. We won't suggest claims we can't back up.
