How much less plastic does a refill pouch use than a rigid bottle?

A flexible refill pouch has a superior product-to-package ratio to the equivalent rigid bottle, the format itself is the biggest sustainability win, before recycled content is even counted. Pouches also ship and store flat: thousands of refills fit in the space a pallet of bottles would need.
