What's the most sustainable packaging for beauty and personal care?
It depends on the product. For liquids and refills, recyclable mono-material PE pouches with up to ~70% post-consumer recycled content (GRS certified) are the defensible choice. For dry beauty, powders, bath salts, masks up to 1kg, certified home or industrially compostable laminates open up. Every option comes with verified carbon and end-of-life data so the claim on your pack survives scrutiny.
Can beauty packaging be compostable?
Yes, for dry products: powders, bath salts, masks and solid formats up to 1kg run in certified home compostable (PBS-based) or industrially compostable (PLA-based) laminates, certified by TÜV, BPI or ABA. Compostable films are moisture-sensitive by design, so they're not suitable for liquid formulations, oils or high-humidity products, for those, recyclable PCR is the honest recommendation.
Will the packaging react with my product's active ingredients?
Not if it's specified correctly, that's exactly what we engineer for. Actives like vitamin C and moisture-hungry ingredients demand structures matched to your formulation's OTR and WVTR targets, with a food-grade virgin sealant layer between recycled content and your product, migration-tested to FDA and EU standards. We can validate with printed samples and support accelerated stability testing before you commit to production.
Can you make refill pouches and sample sachets?
Yes, resealable spout pouches from 200ml to 2 litres are the refill workhorse for shampoo, body wash and liquid personal care, engineered with burst-tested seams and leak-proof spouts. For sampling and single-use, flat pouches and pillow sachets carry the same print quality at minigram sizes. Refill pouches also pack flat: 10,000 pouches fit where 10,000 bottles never could.
What are your minimum order quantities?
MOQs start at 6,000 units with digital printing, built for multi-SKU beauty ranges and product launches, and 10,000 units for rotogravure at scale. Spout pouches carry a one-off spout mould fee, flagged at quote stage. Fully printed sample runs are available first.
