Non-woven rPET

Grounded’s non-woven rPET is made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester and carries Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification. Non-woven refers to the fact that the material is not woven in the traditional sense of interlacing yarns, rather it is bonded together mechanically or thermally. This results in a fabric that is strong, durable and is able to be re-used for 100’s of uses. It uses less water than most textiles and has a significantly lower carbon footprint than virgin polyester.
